Between 2016 and 2019 Tom transitioned from £100,000/year freelance web developer to full-time SaaS founder. 2020-21 was a challenge with many of their customers having to stop operations. But with a team of just two and $0 external investment they're doing better than ever:
Tom discovered real problems people running escape rooms were struggling with and solved them: "People are spending hours a week on doing this. There will be Photoshop, there will be sending out emails. A lot of them don't do SMS, some of them have tried it, but by doing that manually it's really hard. And then there will be people who say like, this is what we plan to do and we haven't done it in weeks, because it would take too long."
